Luis Oro
Studied chemistry at Zaragoza University, received the degree in 1967, and the PhD in 1970. Did postdoctoral studies at Cambridge University (1972-1973). After holding different academic jobs at the Universities of Zaragoza, Complutense of Madrid and Santander, holds the professorship of Inorganic Chemistry at Zaragoza University. A present is director of the University Institute of Homogenous Catalysis. Has been guest professor invited by different foreign Universities.
At the European sphere has been vice-president of the “European Science Foundation” and member of the “European Science and Technology Assembly” of the European Union. Currently is president of the Editorial Union of Chemical Societies (EUChemSoc) and, from October 2008, president of the European Association for Chemistry and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS).
