Ikerbasque achieves the silver Q for its Excellence in management

Ikerbasque Foundation has achieved the silver Q as a recognition of the level reached in the Excellence in management. This award recognises the firm Foundation’s decision to implement an excellent management model.

The silver Q is a recognition awarded by the Basque Goverment to those organizations obtaining more than 400 points in the EFQM Excellence Model charts.

Two new calls are now opened for attracting researchers to the Basque Country

Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, has opened two new international calls offering 20 permanent positions to senior researchers and 20 more five-year contracts for research staff.

Ikerbasque will destinate the 0,7% of its budget to fund cooperation projects

Ikerbasque dedicates for the fourth consecutive year the 0,7% of its budget to fund several cooperation projects. Intermon Oxfam, ICAVI4all, The Food Bank of Bizkaia and SED will lead the selected projects, which will receive about 16.000€ each of them.

One of the strategic goals of Ikerbasque is to be a socially responsible foundation, and that is why it has developed a social, economic and enviromental sustainability strategy which includes dedicating the 0,7% of the budget to finance cooperation projects.

Through a public call, Ikerbasque foundation offered for the fourth consecutive year funding both for projects in less developed countries and for local collectives in a vulnerable situation.
